I also think it's a problem with the self destruct option.
When you type in your password you have several "wrong" attempts that could delete your database when self destruct is choosen. -

Developer has already answered on question "Why is it impossible" on play market. As I remember it was something like "DB decoding requires a lot of calculating power and it's impossible to try to do it after every symbol entering"
