Select a cloud database location
Independent choice of the location of the backup
Also missing this feature. Love to see this added
Well, well, well, guess what just happened with the latest update? You are all correct and wise. The auto location for synching was changed on my mobile device, so now my phone synchs to one location (folder) and my pc to another. That means the two devices no longer synch to each other, I can longer synch across devices. And as you guessed, there is no way to change locations.
I concur wth Thomas' idea below. Shouldn't be that hard to set up either 1) the folder of your choice on whichever cloud you choose OR 2) being able to use whichever zero knowledge (or other type) cloud provider you select.
I don't trust Dropbox, Google Drive, one Drive , etc. And using Boxcryptor just adds extra steps ( and room for error).
This is needed badly! If we could move the location it could be kept safe with a zero knowledge service such as Boxcryptor.
I want to be able to save it on my BitTorrent Sync service.
Same here. have seen this feature on AceBIT Password Depot 3.2. They allow any server address (https://... plus user plus password) to be set up for database synchronization.
This would be the last bit of safety I am currently missing from safeincloud :-).
Thanks for considering that!
Missing this feature too. It would be great to use my own FTP server. Google, Dropbox are fine, but data protection leaves something to be desired.
Is it possible to use another cloud site; e.g. (copy.com)?
Would really love to see this. I have multiple devices and on certain devices I only choose to sync certain items using Google Drive. Since Safe In Cloud does not allow specifying the database location, ALL devices have access to this database, which is very undesirable.
