Formatting of Fields
I would like to see the option of formatting known field types. e.g. Being able to always format Credit Card numbers as 1234-1234-1234-1234
Other formats to consider are dates, account sort codes, account numbers, telephone numbers and probably more. Making this open and configurable for the user would be ideal.
Being able to optionally apply a formatting to a field based on it's type or optionally selecting the display formatting would help improve consistency in displaying information.

There is not really a need to specify a formatting string. Just have a new format of say Formatted Number. When you enter a number such as a sort code 12-34-56 or anything else such as 12/345 67-89 they are displayed as that, but only the numbers are used when copying to the paste buffer or logging in. The upgrade that implemented this could move all 16 digit numbers to Formatted Number with the extra spaces. This would allow for the option of having other types of 16 digit numbers displayed with out spaces if the user wanted that.

A 16-digit credit card field seems to do this already (using spaces); that's great, but there are other fields (as well as 15-digit credit card numbers) that could benefit from this feature. How about an optional field "attribute" (that could be applied to any field) or a "formatted" field type? Either of these would provide a formatting string that would be used to format the field data (i.e. for a 16-digit credit card with hyphens: ####-####-####-####).
